You ain't necessarily got a pile of poo! i got an '88 Td, 111000mls, still pulls darn well etc etc. There's bad 'uns n' there's good 'uns......... also depends on how they've been looked after. If you have got a decent one..... which you may have as it's still goin'! just make sure you change...

Hello. As everyone says, research it, research it some more and take someone in the know with you. Try n' get a go in a Defender before you buy, coz , as stated they're a bit different to a car. Disco's are more road friendly but (personal opinion) I don't like the look of 'em. Out n' out...
