Disco 2 abs kicking in at a very low speed

Hi, Sierrafery, I suspect the latter (Brake in balance) as nothing has been changed in the last 2 years, this fault has just started today. Brake discs and pads were done 2 years ago but we do a very low milage and they look fine, but could probably do with a quick clean-up slides etc. could be...

Disco 2 abs kicking in at a very low speed

Hi, Just as the disco comes to a stop (1-2 mph) the abs pump starts (vibration on pedal) I suspect a sensor or sensor plug. the disco is on tarmac and moving in a straight forward direction. I thought the abs was inhibited from activating under a certain speed. so could it be something else. Thanks

    ABS module communication error

Hi, I understand but I need to establish communication for any future faults which I no doubt will be many:rolleyes: If this fault could be slabs related. Would any water entering the rear suspension airbag compressor box cause it.

    ABS module communication error

Hi, Yes the abs light went out after a short run. At the moment all lights are out and everything appears normal. When we connect the diagnostics to the abs module a communication is established and module info is reported (serial No. Etc.) Its only when we start live data and start receiving...

    ABS module communication error

Hi, Discovery 2 td5 auto (2004) using Lynx software. Apparently after driving through the puddle all was ok till we got home, all the lights on the instrument panel came on the second the drivers seat belt was released. (engine still running) the abs light stayed on after a ignition cycle, so...

    ABS module communication error

Hi, Back again, in the middle of all the other issues we now have a abs fault. Light came on, but there were no fault codes. Pulled up the live data from all 4 sensors, set away down the road got equal readings from all 4 then we lost communication with the module. Reset the diagnostics and...

    WasteGate Discovery 2 TD5

Hi, Sierrafery, So are you saying you need to have it connected to the wastegate and then tension the rod compressing the spring to achieve the correct pressures. a pressure of 20.6 psi should be fully extended, do I need to worry about the crack off pressure Thanks

    WasteGate Discovery 2 TD5

Hi, As part of an ongoing diagnostic I was looking at changing the wastegate actuator, genuine are over £300 if you can find one, cheap ebay about £20-£30, When the cheap one arrived I bench tested it and it cracks off at 3psi and is fully extended at 14 psi. my original one cracks off at 15 psi...

    Turbo Wastegate Percentage %

Hi, apart from changing the filters, I agree that what you suggest about Air flow could be the problem, at the higher revs were not getting the throughput. (low MAF) so I'll work on this first and let you know the outcome. Its one of those problems that don't show up on a normal run so we have...
