Hi All. Replacing the injector seals on my TD5 this morning. Got the cover off and it looks a right mess inside. Thick gunge. Nothing in the sump as I dropped the oil out due to raising oil level (hence changing injector seals).. All the gunge is top end around the injectors/rockers.... Also I...

Turn out to simply be the inertia switch, which is situated on the bulkhead near the turbo. I must have given it a bit of a knock when fitting the new turbo.
Anyway all sorted now.

Hi. Currently have a W reg D2 Td5. Had for nearly 4 yr and it's a pain the backside. But I love it. Always been Saab man before buying my first 4x4. Here looking for advice and pick the brains of the knowledgeable to help keep this crate on the road..Cheers.
