Hello all , not a regular on this part of the forum , usually on disco section . However , my wifes TD4 has a gearbox issue . I know what it is , just dont know how to cure it . NO reverse after garage changed the auto box oil . Help , ASAP , cos shes knicked my disco !!

Welcome to the darkside . If you need a dealer ( independent ) try Mon 4x4 , there on Anglesey , 20 mins from Holyhead . Dont work there but he is a mate . And a good landrover only garage .

Not a cost issue just trying to find a floor that won't rot in 12 months !!!!!!!!

Simple question , Is the rear floor in my disco 1 , 300 tdi , part of the MOT test . IE is it structural , can it be replaced with ply for example ?

Whats the air filter like ?

Sorry , should have said stud not bar , the allen bolt on later kits put's my mind at rest .As usual JM to the rescue , sorted my diff lock issue as well .

The kit came with a new threaded rod and nut for the tensioner , all is ok just checking I.m not missing the bleeding obvious !

Evening all , Don't laugh , but just fitted Britfart timing belt kit , all ok except , what is the allen key bolt for . Read all the instruction's more than twice , no mention of it , puzzled !?? :confused::confused:

Don't push and pull the lever too hard , the end will snap off on the linkage and and the bush may well break up , belive me , you don't need that in your life . Been there done that , right pain in the arse !!
