Hi guys
In the process of doing some insulation and carpeting In the back of my ex mod 110. Anyone able to shed some light on what these pairs of screw holes are used for? There are four pairs of holes down each side.
I need some tie down points in the back and was wondering if they could be...
-
thanks - bulkhead guard and two internal crates is what I am going with - good idea :)
-
i like the idea of turning the rear into one big jail cell but too often we get dogs that need a separate crate :(
-
Thanks for this - will look at 2 crates across the rear :) you dont have a picture of yours do you?
-
Random one but has anyone had any experience fitting dog cages to the back of a defender 110?
We run a dog walking business - I have a 110 ex MOD utility and have a lot of space back there but cant work out the most efficient way of fitting 4 crates back there.
Anyone?
Ed

just closing this one off and thanking everyone for comments. it was as many people guessed a water pump issue - seized so replaced. Belt was reusable :)
-
I’m pretty sure the belt came off only about 1 min before it conked but can’t be sure
-
Not by looks of it but will get my head under there tomorrow
-
Only just replaced the alternator last week! Thanks will check

Hi guys
My ex mod defender 110 (300 engine) started making a clattering noise and lost power steering, pulled over and the belt has slipped off (not broken) and there is blue I assume coolant ****ing out everywhere. Just waiting to be recovered but any thoughts on what happened?

nice one thanks Arctic. Will check in the morning what is included in the quote. Good news re the duel mass flywheel, if we chuck that much at her old freelander I dont want any additional surprises! Great help, thanks.

evening all
i borrowed the sig-others Freelander (Freelander 1, 2002 td4) today as I needed to drive a few hours up to Northampton - on the way the clutch went. Got recovered down to a local garage who have taken a look at it and given me a quote for around 650 to replace the clutch but warning...
-
that is true condensation is definitely an issue in there!
