It goes well on the flat and about town,
motorways and uphill it seems to stuggle the when the injection loom was faulty.
Egr is gone. I unplugged the maf last week when it started and I thought It was worse. I will try and test it tomorrow.
Fuel filter change has been done today.

Not an easy job by any means. Taking it off is easy. Getting the block back on with gasket is a . Torqueing it up wasn’t easy either.
Just remember to take a photo before you start.
Prepare yourself by watching you tube and it won’t be such a bad job. You will get the minor details, but will...

no it wasn't leaking but a decision i made after the hose from the regulator to the front corner of the engine decided to leak and empty the tank.

While dodging the showers i changed the fuel pressure regulator and associated o rings and gaskets,what a horrible job...
Tomorrow I am heading into the head to change injector seals and o rings due to a raised oil level in the sump.

Thank you for your input and support. Hopefully after new oil cooler gasket oil filter gasker new o ring, new turbo oil feed pipe with copper washers I think I have cured the major oil leak. Hope to sort the others soon.

Latest up date. Tonight I purchased a new filter bolted turbo back on.
Topped up the oil and leak has moved to the turbo oil feed pipe.

I am at my wits end.
It is a discovery 2 td5 with 134k mileage and after I changed the oil filter it is now getting worse,
I have changed the oil filter housing gasket and the oil cooler gasket and o ring.
but it is still dripping down the side of the filter.
So now I think there's a deeper...

Evening all
Tonight’s dilemma is locking the discovery.
I don’t have fob so always lock by key, so turn it left once to lock drivers door and once more and hold to lock the rest.
Not today.
Drivers door locked but no response on the rest.
So i lock the rest from inside and then lock drivers...

After an oil and filter change i now have an oil leak from the oil filter housing water /oil cooler.
I am in the planning stages of what I need
oil filter housing gasket
oil / water housing
m22 doughty washers
2 o rings sizes unknown any body help
Have i missed something
