Sorry to drag up a old post but I have just ordered a replacement alternator as the dash light has come on and there is no charge going to the battery.............. Thinking about it I have just changed the dash lights for LED bulbs...... could this be the cause of the problem or is the...

this is 1972 so nothing as complex as needing all of then going at the same time.......... I did think about a beacon on the roof, maybe do that one later I guess ill order a 2 pin flasher and see what happens lol

OK so I have a 4 way flasher but only 2 wires are connected ?!?!?!?!?! Its also well attached to the bulk head as well ! So do I get a LED flasher with 2 wires or 4 LOL #still none the wiser

Hi, OK I'm probably being lazy but I don't want to strip the dash out just to check what flasher i have, so I'm asking LOL I'm swapping my lights over to LED and I know I need to change the flasher unit, can anyone tell me what I need to get as far a s how many pins and what one to get...

Yep that's it, but I don't need the gold plated one that comes full of caviar :-)
