    Right - In fine weather, jacked both rear wheels off the ground, they turned freely and independently, in and out of gear, engine running in sandy terrain setting - they did not turn the main drive shaft, nor could I turn the main drive shaft by hand.     Good afternoon. I have a 2008 Freelander 2 HSE, and recently go stuck in a boggy grass field, and had to be towed out by a VW Toureq.. I had engaged the terrain response switch to mud/ruts but only the front wheels appeared to be turning. How can I ascertain if all wheels are getting drive ?
