Hi I was wondering the same thing but then was told if you keep your finger pressed on the remote to unlock the car, then the tailgate window opens... I tried and mystery solved.

Hi folks, I have a 1999 freelander but am having major problems.... I was travelling down the motorway when I felt , what I can describe, a thud coming from underneath my car. After that I lost all drive but still have power. I can press the clutch down and put it in gear but it doesn't do...
