Hi , it's a "peac" ? from China 🙄 although bought from Paddocks . They are a less substantial looking unit than the old Lockheed that came off it . The holes for the pad retaining pins are also very small . The depth of the groove at it's deepest is 30mm on the Lockheed but only 25 on the "peac"...

Hi all , I tried fitting a new brake caliper from Paddocks to my Defender today only to discover that it won't quite fit . It appears that the slot in the centre of the caliper hasn't been machined deep enough with the result the bolt holes are about 1mm short of covering the threaded hole...

My new gearbox from Ashcroft's is now in and working nicely . The tragedy of it is that it should never have needed replacing . I had always had a very slight ooze of oil under the gearbox , but at every oil change I could still feel oil in the filler hole so I didn't worry about it . At some...

So I attached the positive cable to the solenoid and found the spot where for the end of the negative on the gearbox and everything is back to normal . Thanks everyone for your help .

I have absolutely no idea what it is . All I know is I have a negative cable end that doesn't seem to be in reach of anything All fuses are good , including the big ones in the engine bay .
