Hi lookskyward1, Thanks for the advice, I haven't checked anything as yet. What is puzzling is the high beam warning light stays on even when dipped beam is selected, but still no lights!

Both headlights stopped working last night, but the instrument panel is telling me the main beam is on. :confused: Does this mean the column switch has packed up?

Assuming your talking about the sub in the rear door, you need to find an in line connector with these 2 wires on, (roughly 7 - 9 pin). It will be found in the same area as the 8 pin din connectors at the back of the radio Hope this helps

Hi Aweegin, As you say it doesn't make any difference, I suppose I was pre empting the next question. I installed a pioneer unit which controls the sub, but didn't change any of the speakers. (Down to cash at the time).

I did much the same as Aweegin, but instead of stripping both sets of wires I used a spare phono lead I had and stripped that. I then bared back the wires on the long thin connector, after confirming the wires then soldered the other end onto the long thin conector. Up to now all works fine, but...

I modified mine and it did the same, as James says its looking it the resistance, what you have done in effect is added the trailer lights to your vehicle. I got the relay from dealers, (only place I could get one from), at a cost of £25. If I remember rightly you need to ask for an indicator...

Hi guys, further update to my dilema. It turns out that my 1994 model was in between the change over from the L reg and N reg, so LR in their infinate wisdom decided that a change of diagnostic plugs in between these years would be beneficial! Would appear that is not so, the plug that fits...

Just a thought, maybe the holes are in the floor to stop the occupents drowning from the leaking sunroof!!!!!!!!! ;)
