Im on the wirral but with disco td5 now, had a 300tdi though. Power steering univ joint or ball joint snapped on it in new brighton ( quite scary!!!) A shed load of cable ties around the arm an a slow drive got me home love discoverys but they are loads of hasle compared to an 'average' car!!!!

Just out there fixin it now, good news really the overflow tube had snapped off so a bit of improvisation a small bit of pipe (raw plug sawn in half) an a load of silicone. Its right above the drivers head so top tip if in road rage dont punch the ceiling cause you might just snap it off!!!!!
