Hi Jack,
Trust me, you don't want to shout that on a plane.
I don't know what happened to the images, they were fine when I put them on and for a few days afterwards.
Perhaps this board has a server storage capacity issue and removes them after a set period of time ????
I will have...

Have you checked it though, the vehicle doesn't need to move for it to trip accidentally. the fuel pump wont work if its tripped.
I had this happen to me on a Jag and it took ages before I tumbled what had happened, and it was a simple battery change that started the problem.

I remember someone posting an item about the sloppy gear lever on a Disco 300.
My Daughter had this problem with hers so I stripped it to find out what had gone wrong.
I removed the centre console, sound proofing, gear lever and drilled out the pop rivets holding the transmission cover in...

Given that the battery problem has been resolved, you will have to re-sync the remote with the receiver in the alarm module.

There are 2 black/orange wires on the alarm module, green plug terminals 10 and 11.
Short them to ground and your car should start.
Term. 10 is the Spider control line and term.11 is the starter motor relay inhibit.

Its the ultrasonic detector module for the alarm. It is connected to the alarm module under the passenger side dash.
There are only 3 wires to it, +12v, earth and the detector line that goes low when it is triggered.
It will pop out with a bit of persuasion, but there are no repairable...

Wouldnt get away with in these PC times.

I think I would have struggled with that, its a very tight space with lots of turns in just over 14"

Mmmmm, I suppose I am being cynical but i think its more a case of they know you are unlikely to replace one and not the other.
Strangely its the shorter one (by 1") that is more expensive, but its also the one that gets worn by the engine soundproofing cover rubbing on it.

They do have ends that are "handed" but double the price ????
