Just a minor point, but I believe Tdi stands for Turbo DIRECT Injection, as opposed to DIESEL injection. As I understand, the shape of the combustion chamber was also refined within the 300 Tdi series, hence the slightly different engine sound (it's louder an more 'Pinky').

Hi, i just found this site through a search engine and registered straight away! I live in Chesterfield too and would like to know about some easy going green lanes close by. I don't want anything too challenging as my Disco is about 13 now and the only off-road mod are the All-Terrain tyres...
