    Thanks for the tips guys, I've never had much success with back to black, never thought of trying boot polish and never heard of using hair dryer!!!

    Just got meself a 1995 Disco 300Tdi. All runs fine but bumpers look a bit cr*ppy. All the plastic has faded in the sun and the metal bits are a bit rusty. My plan is to remove all the plastic bits and repaint the bumper, but my MOT is due soon, would it still pass with plastic bits removed...
