Well all fixed and sounding great!

Well the manifolds ( or fanny molds as my wife calls them) are off and it still does it!

Well she has gone in for her repair.
Managed to source a good 2nd hand flywheel assembley with flexplate and boss included.
The mechanic has started dismantling the necessary pieces to drop the gearbox to fully diagnose the problem.
I will let you know what the prognosis is when I...

I've had this noise for months now but it is getting a bit louder..........
wondered if anyone has had the same sort of noise / problem before I start shelling out at the garage?
It only does it on cold startup and goes away after 10-20 seconds.
I've been told by various opinions

I have chopped the rear boxes off my 4.6 P38 and replaced the knackered centre box with one from a 200tdi. Replaced the rear section with some straight stainless steel pipes............
It sounds awesome!

I have no rear wash or wipe.....

Ihave a similar problem at the moment. Very poor brake assistance, abd,tc,h'brake lights all on. I was advisedit was the 'abs pump/actuator.

You are right they will fail.
But the people on here have saved me stacks of money in helping diagnose a problem, rather than paying dealer prices. For that I thank you all.

Thought you might like to know, I bought a recon pump from 'symlise' on ebay and all is perfect now!
all fixed and it does what it should!!
