Checked it out and the spindle was flapping like a good 'un so a new turbo is on order.

Hi there, I have a 95 300 tdi and the turbo has been making a howling noise along with a rattling sound. It hasn't done it all the time only after a long 70mph run coming off the motorway. Has it gone or is there something else that could be wrong, it has an egr if that helps.

Makes it look like it will fall to bits as soon as you drive it away.:D Has'nt put me off though, just got to sell my car and go out and get one.
