    P38A Pesky EAS!

Had a quick look on RAVE and I think I found the right connector. Either way neither of the two switches were doing anything to stop the suspension from moving.

Most of the centre of the dash is actually out. Was looking at rave there a few minutes ago to find the proper connector and I'll check the wire colours. Will report back.

I've no scope. The next best thing that I did was to swap switches and still no difference.

I seem to have 2 inhibit switches!! One of them lights up when I press it and I have to press it twice for it to turn off. The other doesn't light up. Neither of them do anything though to the suspension.

Another update for this. Finally got around to getting this done. All wires have been chopped and reconnected and I have full control of the suspension, can put it up and down, no 35mph warning on the dash, just no lights on the switch. I doubt there is any leaks either, put it up to it's full...

    P38A Pesky EAS!

Yet another update on this! Finally got a few free minutes to have a look at this this week. I turned on the car and left the tailgate open and I could feel the pump running. After a little while it stopped and I closed the tailgate. No 35MPH max message so far but also still no lights on the...

Thanks for the tip on the connectors on the drivers side. That's a pic of one of them after a Liberal dose of contact cleaner. I said the ECU with a spare one I had and I noticed that when I started up I could move her up and down off the switch but no lights on. Plugged in the laptop and got...

That's the very one in was using :) I've tried it already but I was tired and cranky that time so let's just say it didn't turn out too well.

I've those done already but as I said I don't really fit into small spaces so it's possible the wires weren't fully clean. I'll redo them. Thanks for the cleaning tip.

That's tonight's job :) when it cools down a bit. Miss my old shed that had wooden doors and was under trees. I'm not looking forward to it. I don't really fit in small spaces :))

Thanks for that. The pump was a brand new one from a mechanic friend of mine that worked on land rovers, it was sitting in the bottom of his tool cabinet for years. I say was because the thermal switch is shot, checked it tonight. i had another one lying around and that's working away. i...

I've tried. Thing is the software doesn't find any faults. The only way to get it to do anything is through the software.

    P38A Pesky EAS!

Update from todays escapade. Ran the compressor with the tailgate open for about twenty minutes. When I was on the 'Get sensor heights' screen I found that I could move the suspension down with the switch on the dash went up once or twice but stopped then, wouldn't do it on any other screen...
