Mine is 2 inch pipe from a local steel merchant. 4x 21 foot lengths will have it done, ive just enough left for my front bars. Will be using a bit of 1.5 inch for my windscreen bar though as i wouldn't be able to see much with the bigger stuff.

First proper days offroading since it was bobtail with my local club ae 4x4. Good fun day, few bits i need to work on but happy with how it performed. And pulling folk out... Not that i didn't get stuck and need rescued myself. Now needs a clean n few bits fettled.

Cb is fused just not got round to checking it out yet, all the important stuff is working again.

Long time since an update to my little bobtail and finally the fabrication work is finished.. well pretty much. However found that the passanger side sill had previously been botched together with fiberglass and expanding foam so that needes to be taken care off.. So now the best part...

Bit more done, slow but progress none the less. Too busy with other stuff just now and not been giving the Disco as much love as it needs. Van panels in and made plates for the alpine windows. Waiting on pal doing a little tig work before rear windows go in.

Found some information on the spider unit, seems because I have the red key icon flashing it would mean something more towards alarm ecu, immobiliser not the spider but this could be wrong. Will go for fuses first and see where that leaves me.

I will need to do a search for more information on that, not familiar with it. Im guessing its integrated into alot of different areas from the immobiliser?

Fingers crossed I get away with some fuses and nothing too major. Could really put a spanner in the works of the bobtail build.

I will start with a proper delve into the fusebox, fingers crossed the problems are in there or atleast a few of them. Wipers came on of their own accord when the leads were connected backwards so I would guess im going to have problems there too. I've not yet tried the electric mirrors or...
