yes checked codes but not with a landrover specific tool ...didnt really throw up anything relevant ....according to my experienced operator mate

thanks guys ..did try jump leads from battery to engine no change .....next is alternator will get that sorted ..although been told it is only rectifier.....surely dash position sensor not working is telling us something ?

Hi battery is new ...car starts if you short across starter ..displays failsafe ...drives okay except it thumps down the gears when slowing down ...could it be the chm?

Hi guys first post so bear with me..52 plate with 5l40gm box non crank ..no dash gear position ...failsafe shows on start up ..short across starter to get it running drives good except it thumps down the gears when slowing down ...checked all fuses changed gear position sensor in gearbox .still...
