Hmmm.. i had both the V8 and a TD5(current) disco 2's.. the auto box i really loved on my V8.. maintenance is key TD5 or V8.. auto or manual. Point is.. they are not fast.. can be made faster with a good remap but and this is my opinion.. don't go for the silly rolling coal 5k rev pop bang...

Yes it will come in.. doors are not watertight at all but you got to go really deep to get the amp under the seat wet lol

after fitting the snorkel take airbox out.. easier to seal inside the innerwing.. then seal every joint/hole in the airbox.. specially the drain plug in the bottom.. as they dry out and stay open thus sucking in water causing hydrolocked engine.. the joints between the flexihose and inner wing...

Exactly.. also had the problem that the snorkel it self was bent as in 2 ways so had to fit front of snorkel then push the back in and then bend it upwards as it was like a banana.. once fitted.. it heated it up with a heat gun and it was ok then.. never again lol.. buy cheap.. pay the price i...

The template was out by almost inch and a half compared to the hole in the inner wingand facing too far upwards towards the windscreen had to move the whole snorkel back by inch and a half so it would line up.. nightmare.. lookst like bulletholes behind the snorkel and had to cut the snorkel to...

Right people. I have 2 disco 2's 2000 V8 and a 2001 TD5 i want to swap the bodies as the V8 and gearbos are on their way out. How hard is it? As i prefer to keep the colour the V8 has Alveston red as the TD5 has a bronzie gold colour.. bit like baby pooh. TIA

Thanks for that... Now i can get a complete engine.. with all the auxilaries.. but.. as my 4.0 has gas fitted to the intake manifold.. will my old manifold fit or do i need to use the 4.6 one and refit the LPG??
