    I think I have found the source of the smell .Running across the top of the engine is a pi silver cylindrical object I think there is a cable attached to it , under this there are two pipes and where they attach to the object there appears to be a leaking gasket with what looks like coolant...

    yes I did look under the bonnet ( the butler had the morning off to polish the silver )there were no signs of fluid leaks .

    I tried a deisel and couldnt get on with how it accelerates, maybe the one i tried was not running right , i might try another .

    I am thinking of buying a p38 with lpg . can anyone tell me if this causes problems with the insurance companies ? I will make sure that it comes with a certificate to prove it was fitted correctly .

    so the best thing regarding the lpg system would be to buy one with a good history of services being done or buy one without and get a good system installed . What about other reliability problems like the air suspension ?

    Hi , Is there anyone out there who has bought a R/R P38 with lpg and not had any problems with it except to replace the normal wear and tear items ? Just thought I would ask as I am still undecided wether to take the plunge !
