Short answer to how quick a D2 will accelerate 0 to 60mph. Yes, it can do that. You might be better off looking for something else to drive if that is a spec You care of.

Don't know about replacing the crank sensor, but I'd say Youl do just fine with the injectors/seals and the fuel pump. To get to the injectors You just need to take the rocker cover off, the rocker shaft off and injectors are there. Unbolt them...

I don't see what all the fuzz is about the top nut, it's easily accessible...

Got it out yesterday after using the angle grinder and a dremel with the small 38mm discs. Both side towbar mounting brackets need to be removed. And as they may have been on since new, I had to cut the nuts off the thru chassis bolts. Nice...

Took D2 for mot today, passed with a minor defect.

Just buy the normal bulbs that has none of this +% crud on them.

What is a big modification? Putting in +2" shocks and coils, and longer brake lines, adjusting the panhard, not a big mod in my opinion. Lift blocks? Why?

That's the easiest way to leak proof a D2 as long as it has a good "diaper" on it :rolleyes:

You need to take the whole sunroof out, clean the old sealer off the roof & sunroof (every last bit) then reseal with sikaflex & whilst you're there check & put extra sealer on those pathetic plastic bits where the drain pipes connect.
