just want to update i tried the test and found 3 of the wires had no continuity removed the loom and it was melted right through these wires :) thanks very much for your help sierrafery :) I have now a bent manifold,broken exhaust bolts,pas leak , and oil leak to fix :( aint these cars a joy lol

power to 243 too

checked the plugg 677 and there is power there.I am now trying to get off the round plug on the gearbox 243 sitting good so taking down the exhaust to get more room

Ok i shall try and find a diagram and look at it this weekend thanks he said it can be a lose connection in one of the plugs on the gearbox

Took it to a dealer today and it read3 fault s Solenoid valve lock up Solenoid valve 2 Highside switch control

I can check engine, ace,abs/slabs and body control

Ok thanks i will try to get hold of one cheers

Dont think the nanocom one can scan the transmission ecu mate I have never seen it in there?
