I've just changed the stop solenoid for a new one and still no luck. There's 12v to it on position 2 of ignition but on crank it goes down to 8.5v. Would this cause an issue and make the pin drop back into original position?

Will replace it tomorrow and see if it fixes it. Only other thing could be injector issues I guess.

You can hear the stop solenoid click when you turn ignition on. Also I have diesel out of the pipes by the injectors to which when I cracked the injector pipe nuts diesel spat out.

Im in the middle of renewing the brake system on my 1988 defender 90. I have uprated all brakes to 300tdi calipers discs and pads. with this brake lines and servo etc. Now looking into brake bias or compensating valve, I just wondered what one I would need or if I need one at all?

Can anyone help, Or is it worth me buying second hand items and cutting the hose tails off and using the rubber pipe with jubilee clips.

All my fuel lines to the pump and lift pump are a very tight fit in length and should be replaced for longer items ideally. My defender had a 300 tdi conversion by the previous owner and was a bit of a bodge. The reason to make my own was to direct them and give greater slack on the pipes. So...
