sorted this was a easy fix ,as id had the binnicle out id caught the needle and knocked it back so gently pushed needle round and voila ;)

hmm sounds more to it than i thought about an hr ago looks like i be in the boot soon so am i right in thinking that its not going to be me who hasnt put the plug on the back of the the clocks properly??

dunno was hopin it was a fuse or summat save me takin it off to check plugs were all in :mil8:

disco 200tdi 91 plate put all dash in after changing heater motor all working except fuel gauge showing 1/4 stead er 3/4's is there a fuse or is it more likely i knocked needles or summat, if so can it be fixed or is it a complete new set er clocks

sorted just finishing putting dash back in what a nightmare of a job

hi all just spent the day dismantling the disco to change the heater motor with a new one.finally got the new heater motor in the housing and back in the car but the wiring loom is different. i can get an adapter from paddocks but it wont come till next week and i need the disco for work monday...

could be diff oil

yeah sorry my mistake took off all the clips from joint all around but cant get it to split haynes book says position flap but no matter what position flap is in it wont alow it to split ???s so you actually cut the long flap in 2 to allow it to seperate?

hi bought a replacement motor/fan £100 :eek: for my disco 200tdi on a J PLATE .stripped out dash took out matrix not tooo bad:) cant get matrix to split to take out old MOTOR took out all clips BOTH PLATES ONE EITHER SIDE stuck in screw drivers pulled like mad but will it hellers like open up...

Hi all been having problems with my disco 200 indicators were staying lit but not flashing ,was decided it was the relay drivers side looked in haynes book of lies and it said one with blue wiring plug so got replacement popped it in and nothing they no longer lit up popped old un back in nope...

hi all had a look but cant find anything identical..on way home today and indicator clicked once green light on dash lit then went off ,but bulb on outside stays lit but without flashing. can anyone tell me if its a fuse or relay thingy and if so were i can find said little bugger cheers in...

i had the same on my 200 at exact same speed turned out to be my pitman arm, didnt know either thought it was my tyres till it failed mot on it changed it now its beautifull, worth a look and a wiggle may be someone else will come along with a different answer but worth a look while u are waiting
