Yes, it does have a Transmission oil cooler, and it has a temp sensor fitted into the pipes running to it but there are no electrical connections to it.

The Battery is good and terminals nice and tight.
The TOTWL does not come on for a bulb test. Just comes on when I go to crank.
I am pretty sure something is inhibiting cranking. Like when the gear selector is not in Park or Nutral - cranking is inhibited.
Interestingly, when the gear...

Hi All,
1994 RRC 300TDi Auto - Soft Dash.
My RRC hasn't been used in a while. I went to start and it won't crank. Instead, when I turn the key to crank position (after letting glow plug lamp extinguish) nothing happens apart from the Transmission Oil Temperature warning light (TOTWL) comes on...

Yes. Trio is correct. But thanks Kev because that gives more clues to follow. I'll try and do some more research over the weekend.

Thanks all for your input,
I have to admit to wimping out on removing the steering wheel!. I have removed the steering coloum to intermediate shaft UJ and thankfully that has a groved spline end rather than a single flat so it means I can set the steering wheel in the centre position using...

Long story.
But in short, I think a PO has fitted it wrongly as the indicators do not self cancel properly and I am also fitting a new steering box that is supplied with a flat on the splined input shaft rather a groove as my removed unit had.
This means the steering column/UJs can only go on...

Hi all,
Hoping to get some advice on removing the steering wheel from my 94 soft dash - no airbag.
I don't want to break the horn push in the centre of the wheel but I guess it has to come off. It doesnt seem to want to let go and I don't want to break it. Any advice?

Hi Trio,
No not really. I still have the leather electric seats fitted and as it's only me driving I manage without the ability to adjust. I am however contemplating repairing the old cloth manual seats and putting them back in, but as the old girl is off the road waiting for me to fit a new...

Thanks all.
Datatek : I'm not so sure a change over switch would be that simple. It would have to switch over 8 wires at the same time (or perhaps could get away with 4 if given a bit more thought). At 15A per wire it would be chunky for sure.
Marjon: I had a look on their site but no sucsess...

Thanks Datatek, Yes, soldering was my first plan but I thought if I could get a mating connector it would make future removal of seats easier. Thanks Mikieman for your input - I'll check out Disco1s
I should tell you my plan - as you all may have better ideas!
I bought some leather elecrtic...

Hi all,
does anyone know where I can get a mating connector to this one pictured?
It's the connector that is on the electric SEAT motor loom and the mating connector that I am seeking would perhaps normally be on the switch loom.

Hi Mark and all,
I have topped up the radiator and the thermostat and I think it is a little better, though there is still a bit of gurgling. I can't really tell if there was trapped air in there as I removed the Radiator plug while the top was off the expansion tank, and hence the radiator...

Hi Mark and all,
No mayonnaise at all. I did change out the expansion tank a week or so ago (a small leak) but it was gurgling before then.
Is there any special procedure for bleeding out trapped air from the coolant?
