okay so i have replaced the amplifier, old one XUO000020 with the new one XUO500040, still nothing, i have checked its getting power and the continuity of the aerial in the rear window both are fine, honestly not sure what else it could be

nah cleaned it up and still didnt work :( got a new one on the way though was worth a shot

yer i will clean them up and see what happens, not holding my breath tbh but at least its a good starting point to solving the problem :)

yer for whatever reason it wont load it up i pulled the XUO000020 - Land Rover Amplifier apart and it looks like water got inside and some of the components had green stuff all over them lots of corrosion

lol, i totally forgot about this post, thank you for all your responses, so it turned out that the mechanic owned up to it in the end and thinks one of the injectors was dropped and bent the tip or some such thing, they replaced what they had to and its been running fine ever since!
