Down loaded the RAVE manual as advised, all 500 odd pages plus nice pictures, easy to follow the way the pipes run, cleared all the rubbish off the top of engine, looked down saw pool of coolant, closer look, saw that the thermo., housing was split on the join, is this another of the common...

any one know where to find a layout of the 2002 2.5 kv6 engine, got a great mec., who can do most things but needs to see a layout of this mess of an engine before he has a go at it, help appreciated

have just joined the ranks of fools buying a freelander, 2002 2.5 kv6, knew "sweet felicity arkwright" about them, saw the ad., saw the price, saw the wagon and after 4 weeks have seen the light ! why oh why, 30,650 on the clock, could i go wrong? dam right i could & did, coolant going missing...
