    Turbo

Probably more bother than it's worth, increasing your cooling system to cope, a new head gasket to lower the compression if available, the turbo system if available and exhaust system. In all honesty a fortune. As said already above better probably to get another landie that's rotten and...

    Help

Any good quality semi synthetic to be honest, the engines on these tend to blow up with alarming regularity so make sure the oil is kept clean and that there is plenty antifreeze in it.

    O2 sensors - help please

Heat the exhaust bit cherry red and then cool it quick with water, hose/bucket, this fooks up its molicules and it will come out, but work the coont back and forwards don't commit to "come out yah bastid" or it will snap off. You need to be careful screwing it out red hot coz it might pull...

    O2 sensors - help please

Went through all the fault codes and can't see any that say anything about 5 volts, "faulty heater circuit, high voltage, low voltage" etc. Once you have the proper code you can investigate the reasons for that failure with a meter. Been down this route before with coonts that tell you ****.

    O2 sensors - help please

I normally cut the plug off them to get a good socket or ring key on them, might have to heat them though, but don't go mad and snap the coonts in. The 5 volts reading is strange though, they work by heating up metal plates and then reading the resistance of the flow of gas over the plates...

    half shaft or diff?

I wish they always broke at the hub end, personally never done one that has though. All the ones I have done on trucks have broken at the diff end and got stuck in the diff. The energy that broke the shaft can twist the shaft a little making it stick in the splines anorl. But be optimistic it...

    Side Steps - Replacement/Removal

I made a set out of box section and flat plate, should be a photo of them on here somewhere. Cost next to fokal, keeps the mot guy away from the sills coz they are covered with 4mm plate and gives good protection and something to jack and stand on. Fixed them by drilling through both outer and...

    300 tdi disco

It must have drawn in all the ****e when you ran out, so you changed the filter and fuel pump because it was slugish, and now it wont go properly. It sounds like it has fuel starvation, make sure the lift pump is lifting the fuel and that the pump is not one of them that has the inlet and...

    Jaguar question. :0

Simples just connect up under the bonnet, one jump lead to the engine block and the other to the live on the starter or alternator. If its the alternator you use open the boot and connect up there after dont start it from that. Ok to start from the starter main though.
