The explosion above seems to show that only two bolts, 3 and 4, actually hold the pump to the plate. Is that right?

Sorry, its a 200tdi. Thanks Meego. I THOUGHT it was either PS pump or alternator. Is the pump fastened using simple through bolts, case the frame?

Time to show utter ignorance... In the attached photo, not mine, i have outlined a pulley. In my 110 the device that is behind that pulley is loose on the frame and needs tightning up - if i shake the pulley the whole device moves, the pulley is still securely fatsend to its own...
