Many thaks Gents Looks like is a bit of everything... The rubber 'thingy' between driveshaft and rear diff was shot..... Looks like wheel bearing might also be on way out. I'm getting there.... Thanks for the help and info..itssaved me a lot of time. Cheers Dave:)

Hi There I'm new to the site, so please excuse me if this questuion has been answered several times before. I have a 96 Disco V8i....Starter Motor was replaced with new unit last February. Since June or so...intermittently....turning the starter key does not engage the starter...
