same problem as me...I can get pump to work from direct power feed but wont work from inside....you can download free software providing you have the correct cable but wammers has a guide on here..im up to the point where I have the software and lead but think something is wrong where my obd...

Right update...tried several times this morning to get laptop and software to work..epicfail..plugged it into my other p38 and works fine so I know lead and software are ok....so I must have a problem where the lead plugs into the car...what am I looking out for and how do I get behind the plug...

That's what I am using...I had it working the first time I ever used it but now it wont..anyway ive had a day off from it so going to crack on again today..just waiting for the laptop to charge up and see what happens.

Well have tried my eas software again today and it will not read the ecu..just comes up 'no idle'. tried 4 or 5 times..it did work the other day but I tried another ecu on it to see if would make any difference and it didn't so I put the old one now and now I cant connect to the...

Going to have a look at that again today..the lead and software worked the other day but would not work yesterday..it initialised but I got 'no idle' and a load of 28 and 80 messages.

so to recap then...the heigh switch will work to let the suspension down and the level lights are working but obviously no message going up to the compressor to work...so fitting a thermal switch will rule that out...how do I backtrack from there?

you could be right about the thermal switch so going to order one and bite the bullet and take the compressor off.

if anyone is near the durham area who could help me....it must be something stupid..anyone got a proper plug in diagnostic tool to help me?
