    Yeah I suppose thats a good idea. Each will feel very powerful anyways as I will be going from a 1.2 engine so. I'll need to get some test drives booked soon!

    Thanks for the insight! You have a rough idea of what I should be spending? My research suggests £10+ will get me something solid (hopefully). I plan to inspect everything on the car first to make sure it is as best as it can be first though.

    So from that synopsis both are a good choice. Just TD5 would be more expensive to repair.

    I am looking at a D90. Prefrably a 300TDI or a TD5. A V8 would be fun but I heard them engines are a bit of a pain.

    Yeah I hope. If anybody wanted I would throw a few bob their way for some good advice and maybe to go look at a few landys incase there is anything extra I need to look for or anything. I know I need either a TD5 or a 300TDI and the main things to check are the turrets, crossmember and bulkhead...
