Thanks everyone... Took it out for it's first drive today. Forgot how slow, loud, wayward steering it is but love it! We have made a pact now... That now we have a Landrover again, we will stick with it!

I have just bought a 96 300 tdi and it was suggested that the reason for the rear windows not working is due to dry solder joints on a panel in / behind the glove box? Easy fix supposedly? I have very limited mechanical experience, so apologies on advance 😕

Hi all... Was on this forum a few years ago when l had a 200 TDI Discovery and a 300 Discovery. Not had a Landrover for a few years but bagged a 96 300TDI Disco this morning. Looking forward to doing a few bits to it and getting out and getting muddy with family :)

What... did you mean yes it does have an immobilisor as standard? I'll have to look at my account settings to check the pic thingy.

Hello... Can anyone tell me if the Discovery 300 tdi came with an immobilisor as a standard part of the vehicle security? My 94 model has remote locking via the key fob, once pressed the indicators flash and alarm is armed but I don't know if it is immobilsed also?

Not all at once but, full service, welding tops of inner wings, new fuel tank strap, cam belt and sedimenter cleared and / or replaced.

No... I have literally have NO ROOM at all and always have to park at an angle with 2 wheels on a steep curb at the best of times. surrounded by other vehicles practically bumper to bumper and accross the road, with no access to power or water either. No experience isn't an excuse, it ties in...

Only had it a few days and it's been sluggish since had it. According to service book, cam belt was changed 4000 ago along with a service but this is written in pen in back of book and signed, rather than a proper stamp in service part of book with all the other stamps. So sounds a bit sketchy...
