    Further update: I got the 90 back from being repaired and it was the linkage on the side of the transfer box, the whole job including the part and labour was a mere £40 and the box is working as it should Phew saved some pennies and headache tablets lol

    I have just had the same type of problem myself but mine was sticking in diff lock (See thread about Diff Lock Problem on here by me) and when the landy mechanic checked mine out, it was the linkage worn and it had a white plastic gromet / spacer type piece missing, the lads replaced the linkage...

    I have try'd moving the lever left to right quite hard and even just come in after trying to reverse to "unwind" the diff lock but nowt has worked up to now ps there is no light coming up on the dash and I have even put a new bulb in to make sure
