am in wigan dr ..... Ive tried the welding thing i can weld the 1.6mm fine nice bead and good penitration but on the car its poop and needs welding in places i cant get the grinder in to clean the steel up :mad:... and whats a Blitz Sahara. when its at home :lol:

:mad: i have a p reg disco 2.5td mint running gear chassis and lump..... body is :fighting: shot :mad: but repairable with skill and use with a welder and am ship at welding :(:(... so i have 4 choices scrap it, sell it as project, fix it, play toy .... opinion please

i recon you may save about 1-3 miles tops with careful driving, as Dave said even with a prop removed the front wheels still spin the diff up the only thing that wont turn is the transfer box between the axle and box. You have removed a bit off spinning steel so prob save a tad bit
