I've been using two stroke in my 2005 110 TD5 for nearly a year. It's definatley smoother and quieter. There is quite a lot on here about it.

Just caught up with this thread. I'd get the free wheeling hubs looked at before spending the cash. It may be a lack of use with the hubs freewheeling which has made it difficult to disengage the hubs therefore not allowing drive to the wheels

Jack up one front and one rear wheel so they are both clear of the ground at the same time. Start the engine and select a gear. If they both spin then it's working as drive goes via the path of least resistance.if you have free wheeling hubs fitted they will need to be engaged. This is assuming...

The legislation is either changing or has changed for diesel engined vehicles. If they were fitted with a cat when manufactured they won't pass an MOT test if it's been removed.

After looking for a hi-lift trolley jack that is very good value
The chuckies on my old drive just stopped the trolley jack from rolling
Firstly it's half price so not that far off an average price for a hi-lift. My old one was a Jackal. I'll stick with that when I get a new one but...

Stripped out the dashboard to fit new wheel boxes. Found £2 when I cleaned out the the bits you can't normally get at. Even managed to put it back without any screws left over :high5:

I may need to try that approach. This is one of the quieter forums I frequent and my wife complains about the amount of time I spend on them.
