If you research further on this subject, on this site, you will find that you can change the rear window rubbers without dismantling the door. I changed the n/s/r on Wednesday in less than half an hour.

    Discovery 2 EGR removal/blanking

I blanked the EGR, removed the pipe to intake and fitted the new connector from intercooler to intake. My car pulls better uphill with the van on the back as it holds top gear longer. My only problem is that I now tend to use kickdown more often as it is now more fun. This does not do the mpg...

    De-EGR & De-Cat

This sounds familiar to me! Best I have a look. Incidentaly, my mpg went down after removing the EGR. I noticed the increase in power with the result that I was for ever using kickdown - not good for mpg but it feels terrific!

    TD5 immobiliser

Help! Both my key fobs operate the locks and unlock the doors. The immobiliser lights operate correctly when locking the doors. The problem is that the immobiliser lights just flash continuously when I unlock the car and I can't start the car. I need my car for work. I've tried phoning for...

    TD5 alarm fault

I've got a problem with mine. Both fobs will lock/unlock the car. The immobilser will set ok and give its flash every two secs but the immobiliser will not come off as the light just flashes rapidly. Upon advice, I've tried letting the alarm go off a couple of times and resetting but to no...
