    Wierd Fuel Pump Relay Problem

Problem sorted. Thanks for all the help. In case anyone else has a similar problem :- Removed the relay, checked the pin from the ignition switch/ecu, 0V with ignition off, 12V with ignition on so working correctly. Took the plastic cover off the relay and switched the ignition on to see if I...

    Wierd Fuel Pump Relay Problem

Hello Thanks for the info. Have tried 4 different relays, all test good. Have not replaced the fuel filter yet. If it was a 12v/earth or fuel filter problem why does it run ok when I bridge the relay.

    L322 TDV8 MAP Sensors

Hello Still trying to find the source of a PO23D error on my 2007 3.6 TDV8 l322. When I bought the car the garage mentioned they were waiting for some new sensors. I have pulled out the Map sensors and they looked brand new so assume these were the sensors that have been replaced (probably...

Hello Blob These were the fist pipes i took off the car to have a good look. Will check again giving it a good squeeze in case the split is not obvious.

    L322 3.6 TDV8 EGR Valve Gasket

Just a update Changed the gaskets, did a smoke test, no leaks. As expected did not get rid off the PO23D error. Looks like an expensive visit to a specialist.

    L322 3.6 TDV8 EGR Valve Gasket

Checked the 2 elbow pipes, look ok. Had the wife rev the car while i squirted soapy water over both manifolds, no sign of any leaks (thank god). Have ordered the gaskets for the metal EGR Outlet Pipe, don't have much hope that it will stop the error but it needs doing anyway.

    L322 3.6 TDV8 EGR Valve Gasket

Thanks very much for the advice. The first thing I did was the soapy water on the drivers side inlet manifold which I believe is bank 'A'. This did not show any bubbles but I only checked it at tick over, will get the wife to rev the car and try again. I have also had the top booster pipes off...

    L322 3.6 TDV8 EGR Valve Gasket

This is where the smoke is coming from. Can someone confirm that a leak here would not cause the PO23D error. Thanks

    L322 3.6 TDV8 EGR Valve Gasket

Hello Thanks for the help. First thing I did was take the top intercooler hoses off and give them a good inspection. Seem to be ok. I believe there are 'bottom' hoses also but have not looked at these yet. Tried the soapy water trick on the inlet manifold and also smoke test but can't see any...

    L322 3.6 TDV8 EGR Valve Gasket

Hello Guys Looking for a bit of advice please. I have owned my 2007 3.6 tdv8 for a year now. Since purchase I have been getting the PO23D error with the car going into limp mode. Decided today to make myself a smoke tester (15mins). Plugged this in and saw smoke coming from a metal pipe where it...
