I now have fully functioning suspension at last. The suspension wiring loom behind wing liner on passenger side was found to be the problem. Three of the wires on the grey plug had chaffed and corroded causing the problem. New wires soldered in and heatshink covered. Result

Had an afternoon on the car and removed air tank which had a load of rusty water in it but no pressure. To say the tank is rotten is an understatement so will have to replace. Also air valve at tank has had water ingress and is not working, pressure switch is also u/s. More bits to find
