Yep, I did that but there are 2 different types I think pre and post 2002. Barrels are different from all I can find. Perhaps I will just have to take the chance on the pre 2002, the door keys are different to the ignition.
I have had a look about and think these are from a later defender. I want to change barrels in the door handles. Struggling to pinpoint which ones they are. Can anyone confirm what age or barrel I should be buying from the photos.

The viscosity of DEXIII is slightly higher than DEXII but Dexron-III (F) has the same low-temperature fluidity as Dexron-II (E), for better transmission performance in cold weather.

Looking to sort out a missing part, the one shown is too short. Are the splines the same on other landrovers that I can get a new replacment? Identify what this is off would be a start.
I tried to do this underneath today but no play in anything. It's all stiff, no movement in anything. Which was strange, was thinking it might be wound up........ but will check it all out tomorrow. Going to do all the fluids in everything...
Haha. There was lots of oil dripping. The zf4hp took about 4 litres to get it to the right level. The bodged atf cooler hoses where leaking......... need new, but its stopped leaking after bodging the bodge....... It shift well with no noise...

Spinning and working are two different things. Pull the fuel line leaving the fuel filter and turn your ignition key to the run position. Fuel should noticeably shoot out of the filter when the key initates the pump.
OK, I will test the fuel pressure.
It's a 14cux EFI so if the coils disconnected the ecu will not get a signal to inject fuel.
But will it still try and inject fuel if, as tested, 2 off the injectors appear to be out of the circuit?
I have 3.9 EFI range rover in a 90. It turns over, sparks, but wont inject fuel. The fuel pump spins. Not checked pressure yet as it seems to move fuel. It just stopped whilst idling a while ago, now won't fuel.
Gone though the Haynes manual...
