And the answer is...... Use a genuine window rubber. Yes it's four time as much to buy but is thinner, more flexible and has a textured surface that grips the glass. I have had the door card off so many times I can now do it in my sleep!

Hi, I have to replace my drivers side window channel and rubber as the original one has rusted through and buckled. I have purchased a new channel [part no MUC2322 ] and rubber [part no MUC2325]. How do you fit the rubber into the channel alone with then glass? The strip of rubber once fitted...
