Well thats all good - Just bought a 2.5 dhse didn't have a clue of what to look out for before I found this site. I printed off the all the advice and thoroughly annoyed several dealers who were trying to sell a rat but fairly confident I found good one - picking it up on Sunday and can't wait.

Every car I've ever had with this prob I've just disconnected the wire from the handbrake - prob completley different in a range rover - but I would have a fiddle.

Thanks for that - I have no no sense of direction at all and my horse will not appreciate me getting lost for hours on end - will purchase the tom tom - any advice on what kind of price I should be looking to pay for clear indicators? Thanks C
