can i just add that iv checked the glow plugs and they r fine but dry wich suggest that no fuel is getting to them... could it be a problem with the imobiliser?

hi, i own a 1998 freelander and on saturday i was driving and the instruments on the dash or idicators were not working. once i parked it up i tried the key n everything worked ok again but when i got back to the car later i tried to start it but nothing. there were no lights on the dash...

who would i need to go to 4 the ignition switch... could it be a normal garage?

hi dave, yes i have had total power loss and dim ignition lights in the past.but its never not started like this. but yesterday whilst i was driving to my destination nothing on the dashboard worked (apart from the imobiliser light) and my indicators wouldnt work either??? so can u go...

well today i was driving and the speed indicator wasnt working or my idicators... then i parked my car up went back to it to start it but nothing??? it was turning over but that was it. and the ignition light wasnt coming on, i got it going in the end but only through luck and now its home it...

hi, im having trouble n was hoping to get some help... can anyonr tell me if its due to my immobiliser playing up that sometimes makes my electrics on my dash play up??? :confused2:
