i do many things, from welding to music to traditional cleft gates and so on. i have a nerve condition which causes considerable pain on a daily basis but i keep as busy as i can. we run a small shop selling various craft items, artwork and refurbished stuff.
the landy has been a dream growing up and i have been running them exclusively now for 6 years. first landy was a 109 series 3 pickup, which died a dramatic death with a snapped crank and shattered gearbox. then when the repairs were started we found several very serious cracks in the chassis, so it was sadly scrapped as even the bodywork was hacked to bit by previous owners. lost £2000 on that first one, current one was bought scrap for £400 (actually bought simply for the tires and maybe a spare part or two) and i got it back on the road and it is worth significantly more now. its been converted to diesel and back, had a couple of different roofs and had the high ratio box fitted. its worked for me in the woods and worked hard, its occupied me in poor health and i couldnt imagine life without it now.
