    Tow Hitch

Ta for that. I'm minded to cut and drill a piece of heavy angle and bolt that on to support the drop plate, if it looks necessary.

Yep, I have been looking, ta.

    Tow Hitch

Mine's an '81, and new Richards chassis has tapped holes for fitting this extra piece. I must say all, or rather, most of the pics I' ve found seem to be of defenders.

    Tow Hitch

Here's what I mean. There are threaded holes on the underside of the crossmember that you can bolt up to. It means you can put 4 bolts joining the drop hitch to the chassis, rather than 2. Thought it would be stronger.

    Tow Hitch

Yeah, that's the basic factory looking drop hitch that fits the rear x-member perfectly. Nice pic, ta. I'll look for an image of what I mean.

    Tow Hitch

Hi. Anyone got a part no. for the piece of angle iron that seems to bolt under rear crossmember to support the tow hitch/tow hitch plate. Also, anyone got pics of a adjustable hitch set up on an 88"? Ta.

    Series 3 Electric Power Steering

It looks like it's been thought out and with probably good componentry. Bet you it'll be up near 3k, fitted. Great but out of my league, I think. I was really hoping for a sort of bolt on assistance system like an old Massey might have. Electronics and modern technology seem redundant or...

Series 3 Lower shock absorber fitting

Hi all. Busy fitting the new parabolics and shock absorbers to the galv chassis. Anyone got any tips as to fitting the lower end of the shock? I'm thinking I'm going to have to cut up a suitable sized piece of tubing to act as a combined press and aligner so that I can squeeze the bush/washer in...

    What's this called?...

Anyone tell me what this plate is called? - On bellhousing with gearshift flange bolted through it. Mine is missing it, and I know I could make one, but if I could buy one, it'd be quicker...probably.

    Fuel tank

No, it's not, as far as I know, but then, it's almost def not the original, right?

    Fuel tank

Stripping down to fit new chassis on my '81 88" and noticed my fuel tank says made in Canada. Is this usual?
