Hi everyone... My 4.6 will not start unless I use the EKA code everytime I want start up.. The keyfob will not unlock the car, I have to use the key in the door which does unlock all the doors... Dash says engine disabled everytime.. I have put a new battery on the car and replaced keyfob...

I'm back... Plans changed more than slightly.. I have sold the boat and changed my job! I didn't get as much for the boat as it was worth but I guess money is in short supply for many. I'm happy with the deal as I managed to px the boat for a very well looked after 1997 4.6 HSE in silver...

I would be interested to know the comparison between the 2 engines before I commit to buying! My reason for wanting diesel over LPG is purely based on economy, so if LPG is cheaper to run on then I may well opt for 1 of them based on the answers given:) Chris

Cheers for that Datatek, I'm not anything like a mechanic but am an expert with a good quality hammer:D I can get by but usually need to pick someone's brains first.. I did rebuild a starter motor for my boat recently which was easier than I thought it would be. (£10 repair or £300 to replace)...
