Ok many thanks for replies. It seems I need a new key fob then. The key and the fob are all one. Original Where would I get one ,, I don't live in the uk so is it a main dealer job Thanks again

So as it was open not locked with the fob I have always noticed that the red lights flash inside the car after a while so does it automatically alarm itself

I don't normally lock the vehicle,,,But it was open I have never locked it with a key alway fob

I parked my 2002 TD5 up 2 weeks ago ,,went to it yesterday battery dead flat, charged it up put the keys in and all the lights come on but wont start,,,wacked the starter motor ,rocked it in gear that was hard on your own but wont start!!!!!!!!! Held the key on but nothing tried the key to lock...

when i accelerate i can hear my turbo screech its been going on for a month or so if i gently accelerate theres no noise ,its not a belt, any advice ,easy to change or cost to but turbo cheers

get a diagnostic done its easy just someone with a laptop with the software tells you whats wrong

can i change the size of my tires i have 255x65x16 tires on my discovery 2 i am going to buy some winter tyres but i am finding it hard to get these so can i use 265x 70 or similar as long as they are 16 any help i need snow tyres as i live in Bulgaria ,or maybe all terrain any help...
