SAE Grade 8 (10.8) 1/2" UNF (1/2-20) 12 point Flange / Ferry bolts. Bloody expensive in the UK.

300tdi through MOT with 4 new coil springs and shocks and with freshly rebuilt front hubs to replace the ball-swivel joint seals that I replaced back in 2008.
Got an advisory about a deteriorating upper rear ball joint. I am guessing that is the one where the A-frame members join. Now need to...

This is a bit funny as I have owned my Defender 90 300tdi for 20 years and registered for this site 10 years ago, and this is my 10th post. This is a quite helpful site. lrukforums was also a good site.

A couple big gobs of No 2 grease behind the mounts. Also a liberal amount of grease on the shock mounting pin and bolt threads. Used penny washers with a lock washer. Next item on the list is the ball joints at the rear axle.

I was replacing the P Gasket and replacing the power steering pump at same time on my 95 Defender. No problems with the P gasket but found that the existing pulley (part ERR3733) doesn't fit the new pump ANR 2157. The existing pulley has a hole diameter of approx. 28.9mm and the new pump flange...

Followed your instructions. Very useful and when finished mine looks pretty decent and not too many new scratches. Couldn't see the pictures - they must have expired. Took me 2 hrs per window doing it by myself. Tricky to get the windows into the rubbers and a real beast of a job to get the...
